Arunachal Pradesh legislator Ninong Ering thanked the city police in Hyderabad for killing the four accused in a veterinary doctor's rape and murder.


In the wee hours of Friday, the four suspects were killed in a fire exchange.


The Pasighat West MLA tweeted:

‘Good work by @hydcitypoliceto #Encounter four rape accused. JAI HIND.’


On November 27, four men–Md Arif, Jollu Naveen, Jollu Shiva and Ch Chennakeshavulu –abducted the 27-year-old veterinary doctor near a toll gate in Hyderabad.


After a medical check-up, the woman, who was on her way home, was brutally raped, murdered and burned after being abducted.


Upon questioning, the police found her charred body in an underpass.


Police took the four suspects to the underpass where the dead body of the veterinary doctor was located for the reconstruction of the incident.


However, one of the four accused had gestured to the other three to flee after attacking the cops.


While they tried to run towards a deserted pathway, the police opened fire and they were killed in the encounter.
