Nagaland's COVID-19 count crossed the 18,000-blemish on Sunday as 241 additional individuals tried positive for the sickness, health minister S Pangnyu Phom said.
The new contaminations pushed the Covid caseload in the northeastern state to 18,076. The loss of life rose to 209 as 13 additional patients capitulated to the infection, state nodal official Dr Nyanthung Kikon said.
Of the new cases, 103 were accounted for from Kohima, 102 from Dimapur, 14 from Mokokchung, 10 from Longleng, five from Zunheboto, three from Phek and one from Mon, Kiphire, Tuensang and Peren regions, the minister said.
At any rate, 108 individuals were relieved of the illness during the day, taking the all outnumber of recuperations in the state to 13,195, he said.
The recuperation rate among Covid patients remains at 72.99 per cent.
