A seismic tremor of mellow power estimating 3.4 on the Richter Scale shocked Assam's Tezpur in the extremely early times of Saturday. As indicated by the National Center for Seismology, the quakes were felt at 10:46 am today. The centre point of the tremor was Tezpur.
Taking to Twitter, National Center for Seismology stated, ''Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.4, Occurred on 05-12-2020, 10:46:37 IST, Lat: 26.92 and Long: 92.67, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 32km N". In any case, There were no reports of any death toll or harm to the property because of the quake.

Prior, on November 3, a tremor of 4.4 sizes on the Richter scale shocked Assam, Manipur and Meghalaya other than neighbouring Bangladesh.
The quake was recorded at 1.30 am on Tuesday 12 PM, at a shallow profundity of 10 km on scope 26.69 North and longitude 91.15 degrees East with the centre point at Nongstoin in Meghalaya.
