Fit India Freedom Run by BSF of Meghalaya

The Meghalaya BSF — including Tura and under order contingents — has been sorting out the 'Fit India Freedom Run' to bring issues to light of the physical and mental prosperity. The 'Fit India development' was imagined by the PM of India to urge residents to take up physical movement and sports in their day by day lives. The program is being hung on the event of the one-year commemoration of the development' that started from August 15 and will proceed up to October 2, 2020. Started by the Government of India, its motto is 'RUNNING: The human body's most crude type of FREEDOM", and is pointed toward empowering wellness and help all to get the opportunity from corpulence, lethargy, stress, nervousness, ailments and so forth. 

While more than 400 BSF workforce and their relatives joined the unique run at Dobasipara and Praharinagar on Sunday, BSF Meghalaya composed the run at Umpling in Shillong on Saturday. The Tura run was hailed off by Ram Singh, District Magistrate of Tura and Surjit Singh DIG BSF Tura. Security and traffic the board during the occasion were guaranteed by Raghuvendra Kumar, SP Tura.
