A beautiful story of Hindus and Muslims celebrating Durga Puja together

Setting a case of common congruity, Hindu and Muslim occupants of a ghetto in Tripura's Agartala city have been coming up every year to observe Durga Puja.

This custom has been continuing for as far back as 19 years at Mollapara, one of the 59 enrolled ghettos in and around Agartala civil gathering territories.

The Durga Puja panel of the ghetto comprises of 31 individuals — 18 Muslims and 13 Hindus — and is presently headed by a Muslim man named Ruhiz Miah.

The advisory group didn't take cash from individuals outside the ghetto this year and figured out how to raise Rs 55,000 among themselves. They, in any case, gotten donations from outside. Altogether, a sum of Rs 80,000 was organized for the current year's merriments.
