On Tuesday, the Assam Public Service Commission announced the date for the 2020 Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination. The Assam Combined Competitive Prelims Exam will be held on September 12, 2021, according to the commission's official statement. It further stated that the status of applications and e-Admission certificates of applicants for the test will be made available on the commission's official website, apsc.nic.in.
The Assam Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination 2020 will take place in 31 district headquarters throughout the state, including Dibrugarh, Halflong, Sivsaga, North Lakhimpur, Tezpur, Guwahati, and Majuli. Candidates who have already picked a centre will not be allowed to change their minds, according to the announcement. "In due course, the status of the applications and e-admission certificates of candidates for the aforementioned examination would be uploaded on the Commission's official website - www.apsc.nic.in," said the notification.
"Before receiving their e-Admission Certificates, all candidates should check the status of their applications," it advised.
Before obtaining the e-Admission Certificates, the commission further advised hopefuls to check the status of their applications. Candidates will not be permitted inside the examination hall unless they have an e-admission certificate, according to the official announcement. It went on to say that in addition to the e-Admission Certificate, applicants should bring a valid picture ID such as a PAN card, passport, or Aadhaar card.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill up a total of 331 vacancies.
The complete selection process includes a preliminary exam, the main exam, and a personal interview.
The preliminary exam will be held in 31 districts, while the main exam will only be held in Guwahati.
