Assam Government Reduces COVID Test Prices for its Citizens

The Assam government has set a limit for the rates of RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) charged by research centres in the state in view of the expanded accessibility and decrease in expenses of testing hardware.

The rate of a Rapid Antigen Test has been fixed at Rs 500.

"All emergency clinics, organizations and research centres are told to show the updated tax noticeably and carefully follow the request. Rebelliousness will draw in activity according to law," the request expressed.
