A 34-year-old Bangladeshi man was captured in Manipur's Thoubal region for unlawfully living in India, a cop said on Wednesday.
Two others were additionally secured for purportedly assisting the outsider with concealing his personality, he said.
The Bangladeshi public was associated with the scrap assortment business and has been remaining at Lilong Uku Mamang territory in the northeastern state since 2014 with "terminated identification and visa reports", Thoubal Superintendent of Police Sarangthem Ibomcha said.
Mohammad Ramjan Ali, an occupant of Bangladesh's Chapainawabganj area, was captured on April 19 for illicitly living in India, he said.
An identification gave by the People's Republic of Bangladesh which had terminated in November 2017 alongside an invalid visa was seized from his ownership.
An FIR has been enrolled against him under the Foreigners Act, and an exceptional examination group will test the matter, the official said.
