The crime rate in Agartala city has come down a lot now. The government is working to bring it down to zero. Sophisticated traffic policing is a part of it. The Chief Minister said this while inaugurating the interceptor vehicle of Tripura Traffic. Chief Minister on Saturday morning waved a green flag in front of his government residence and start the interceptor vehicle.
The government has purchased two interceptor vehicles at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. Official sources said it is possible to know a lot of information about any vehicle at a distance of 500 to 500 meters.
If someone drives while intoxicated, it will also be identified. There is also a system to measure the speed of the car. Initially, this state-of-the-art vehicle will be used between the two cities of Agartala and Udaipur. Later to reach different places in the state too, the official said.
