Arunachal Pradesh revealed a new instance of COVID-19 after remaining Covid free for two continuous days, a senior wellbeing official said on Tuesday.

The northeastern state's count rose to 16,837, while 16,780 patients have recuperated from the illness, State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Lobsang Jampa said.
An aggregate of 56 individuals has so far died because of the disease.
Arunachal Pradesh's recuperation rate and positivity rate remain at 99.66 per cent and 0.005 per cent, separately, the authority said.
