A seismic tremor estimating 5.2 on the Richter Scale shocked Mizoram on Saturday.
According to the information of the National Center for Seismology (NCS) under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, the quake happened at 2.20 pm on Saturday in Mizoram.
The shudder struck at a profundity of 30 km on scope 23.53 degree and longitude 94.50 degrees with its focal point at 119 km east of Champhai in Mizoram, as per the National Center for Seismology (NCS) information.
There has been no report of any harm brought about by the shudder.
