Eco-Tourism Project Inaugurated in Manipur

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh initiated Eco-Tourism Project at Thangmeiband Cheirao Ching in Imphal West District on Feb 25. The Eco-Tourism Project was created under the Ministry of Department of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR).

Addressing the Media by CM:


Talking at the event, Chief Minister Singh said that the recently dispatched venture will expand recreation exercises and pull in more travellers to the state. The establishment stone for the Cheirao Ching Eco-Tourism Project created at an expected expense of around 15 crores rupees was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit in March 2018. The government is wanting to introduce electric vehicles for old-matured and specially-abled individuals, who wish to arrive at the pinnacles situated on the slope top. 


The travel industry Minister Oinam Lukhoi, CAF and PD Minister Thokchom Satyabrata, Deputy Speaker Shri Kongkham Robindro, and Thangmeiband AC MLA Shri Kh. Joykishan, Chief Secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar, and other high-positioning authorities likewise went to the capacity among others.
