The Tripura government on Friday reported that all schools, universities and colleges under the state government will be shut from tomorrow till additional orders. Nonetheless, education minister Ratan Lal Nath said that tests will be held as booked.

Just the pre-planned tests will be held."
The Tripura government had before declared Class 10 tests and Class 12 tests will be held as planned.
A few states have closed schools and delayed tests amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The local government, after a survey meeting with PM Narendra Modi, had dropped CBSE Class 10 board test and delayed CBSE Class 12 board test. A few other state governments, including Uttar Pradesh, had deferred Class 10, Class 12 assessments referring to an increment in COVID-19 cases.
