The Arunachal Pradesh government is resettling around 190 dislodged Chakma ancestral families somewhere else and to obtain some land from neighbouring Assam to build up a Greenfield air terminal at Hollongi.
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has attempted a Rs 650 crore venture for Hollongi air terminal.
Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu on Thursday visited the under-development air terminal site at Hollongi, close to Arunachal Pradesh's capital Itanagar.
An official assertion said that as the air terminal site lies along with the Assam-Arunachal limit and some land must be procured additionally from the Assam domain, Khandu would before long have a discussion in such manner with his Assam counterpart Sarbananda Sonowal.
