Government of Nagaland Concerned About the Second Wave of Corona

The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW) Nagaland has given a warning for all District Task Forces (DTFs) to lead regular examining and testing for screening of COVID-19 now and again.

The warning has been given the approaching second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and to survey the pattern of COVID-19 transmission and pervasiveness locally, the Directorate expressed in its notice on April 3.

The testing for the danger gatherings will be liberated from cost and during the examination for arbitrary screening tests, DTFs have been instructed to necessarily gather contact insights about all nearby contacts like co-explorers, customer present, patient attendants etc.

This is to guarantee 25-30 such close contacts be followed for each tainted individual. Following and segregation are to be done in 72 hours. The resulting testing and follow up of all nearby contacts are added to be completed according to the mandate.
