"Affected by solid lower level southwesterly (winds) from the Bay of Bengal, genuinely inescapable to boundless precipitation with rainstorm/lightning at separated spots are likely over Northeast India during 29th March-02nd April with most extreme action on 30th and 31st March 2021," the Ministry said in an articulation.
"Detached hefty falls on 29th March and 01st April and secluded weighty to substantial falls on 30th and 31st March are likely over south Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram. Disconnected hefty falls are likely over Arunachal Pradesh on 01st April 2021," it said.
Cautioning that the spell may prompt avalanches and immersion of low-lying zones at certain puts over south Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram on March 30 to April 1, the Ministry likewise said that solid breezes may harm estate, cultivation and standing yields, just as harm individuals and dairy cattle at open spots.
