A joint group of Assam Rifles and Mizoram Excise and Narcotics Department captured two people and held onto heroin worth Rs 42.80 lakh in Aizawl on Wednesday.
Following up on a clue, troops of Assam Rifles, authorities of excise, and narcotics office did a joint activity in Zemabawk and, recuperated 107 grams of heroin, 72 jars of foreign-made beer, and 5,000 bundles of foreign cigarettes.
The denounced and held onto things have been given over to the excise and narcotics office.
