More than 14,000 wellbeing workers have been enlisted in Mizoram for getting the COVID-19 vaccine in the principal period of the drive on January 16, an authority explanation said on Monday.

Vaccination Drive:

The state government, aside from setting up a controlling panel, has set up state, locale and square level teams for the drive, it said. 

 

Four offices have been distinguished in Aizawl and Lunglei for the drive, the assertion said. 

 

Preparing programs on COVID-19 immunization were held in the state, locale and square levels, it said. 

 

CM Zoramthanga went to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's virtual gathering with CM of states and lieutenant legislative governors of Union territories to audit the readiness for the drive.
