In Kohima, wearing a mask is mandatory

The Association of Kohima Municipal Wards Panchayat (AKMWP) has coordinated everybody moving in and around inside the Kohima district to mandatorily wear face mask from November 9 onwards until additional course. 

 

Among others, this was chosen at the crisis meeting of AKMWP here Thursday. Expressing that the COVID-19 pandemic isn't finished at this point, AKMWP underscored "indeed certain cases are expanding step by step and even loss of life is ascending in Nagaland." 

 

It said that defaulter(s) discovered moving around without face veils will have their names recorded and be constrained to purchase covers on the spot at Rs 30 for each veil, from Ward COVID Committee individuals on the job. 

 

Identity cards for Ward COVID Committee individuals will be given by the executive Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), it educated.
