The state government has no designs to resume lower classes in the schools of the state starting at now.
Head Secretary of the Education office, DP Wahlang on Monday said that "while there are no plans starting at now to open the lower classes, the predominant arrangement of permitting understudies of Class VI or more to go to classes will proceed".
The COVID-19 pandemic had prompted the conclusion of schools in the state and nation in March this year.
Prior, Education Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui educated that customary scholarly exercises for schools and other educational institutes would keep on being suspended until additional requests and a choice in such manner would be taken after November 5.
The Education Department is holding discussions with various partners prior to accepting an approach to continuing routine scholastic exercises in the state.
