The Bengali people group in Meghalaya presented a notice to state Chief Minister Conrad Sangma looking for minority rights in the state following the supposed separation looked by the network in the state.
In the notice, the network has looked for "earnest and proactive strides to make sure about fundamental, constitutional and lawful rights" to all residents living in the State.
The notice has been endorsed by 80 conspicuous individuals from the network. This came after the Khasi Students Union as of late raised a banner in the state capital and marked all Bengalis living in the state as "Bangladeshis".
