In North Sikkim, Five Truckers Rescued by Army

Five drivers adhered because of hefty snowfall in North Sikkim were protected by the Indian Army, guard authorities said on Sunday. 

 

Three trucks were adhered because of hefty snowfall in a distant region among Samdong and Lachen on Friday night. 

 

The trucks were getting back to Siliguri in West Bengal from Samdong however stalled out as multiple feet of snow got aggregated, making driving incredibly perilous, safeguard authorities said. 

 

The drivers were protected and taken to the Army post where they were given medication, food and comfortable apparel, the authorities said.
