The Kamrup district of Assam today exported 2.5 MT of pineapple to Telengana, marking a significant achievement for the state's pineapple producers.
The export was made possible through the Assam Agri-Business and Rural Transformation Project's programme (APART).
It should be emphasised that the agriculture sector had tremendous growth in terms of production and export in the previous fiscal year.
