The Nagaland government has chosen to force a seven-day lockdown from May 14 to May 20 amid rising Covid cases in the state.
The state saw its most elevated single-day spike of 366 cases on May 13 taking absolute contaminations to 17,256, while 12 additional individuals passed on, incurring significant death to 177, according to State Nodal Officer Dr Nyanthung Kikon.
A sum of 12,968 patients have recuperated and there are 3,551 dynamic cases in the state, he added.
In the meantime, State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr said that Nagaland has so far directed 235,281 vaccine dosages to 182,916 individuals.
