More COVID Recoveries in Meghalaya than New Cases

Meghalaya on Monday recorded more recuperated cases than a new one. As indicated by the Director of Health Services (MI), Dr Aman War, the State recorded 30 new recuperations and three new cases. As on date, while the State has 199 dynamic cases, the absolute recuperated cases remains at 13,042. 


District Wise Cases:


Of the 30 people who recuperated from the infection during the most recent 24 hours, 26 were recorded in East Khasi Hills (Armed and paramilitary powers: seven; regular folks: 19); three in East Garo Hills; and one in South West Garo Hills locale. 


Of the three new cases, two were accounted for from East Khasi Hills and one from East Garo Hills area. East Khasi Hills remains the most influenced area with 140 dynamic instances of which 11 are from the outfitted and paramilitary forces and 129 are regular folks.

Total Tested Cases:


Of the 2, 89, 092 people tried for COVID-19 till date, upwards of 2, 75, 713 tried pessimistic for the infection. The State has 15 control zones and the case casualty rate is 1.03 per cent. 


The quantity of participants into the State from outside Meghalaya till date is 76, 926, added Dr War.
