The Assam police on Sunday captured the most needed intermediary applicant, Pradip Kumar, who had composed the Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2020 for Neel Nakshatra Das, who made sure about 99.8 percent stamps and got one of the clinchers in the all India engineering entrance test, authorities said. 

 

Police said that Kumar was captured in Delhi and would be brought to Guwahati to be delivered under the steady gaze of the court. 

 

Police speculate Kumar to be an expert "proxy candidate". 

 

On November 1, police captured a training center proprietor Bhargav Deka, another prime blamed in the JEE (Mains) assessment pantomime case in which the Assam police so far have captured seven individuals. 

 

The Assam government had established a special investigation team (SIT) drove by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Guwahati, Suprotive Lal Baruah, to test the trick.
