RSS Chief likely to meet Assam CM

Mohan Bhagwat, the Sarsanghchalak (the Chief) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has arrived at Guwahati on a five-day visit.

Sources revealed to Northeast Now that the RSS chief arrived at Guwahati on Tuesday night, and is remaining in an isolated Ashram in Adimgiri Hills close to Maligaon in Guwahati.

Mohan Bhagwat isn't probably going to show up in Guwahati, and won't address any open gathering, the sources said.

In spite of the fact that it couldn't be determined regarding why the RSS, sources stated, Bhagwat is in Guwahati to manage the association's works in Assam.

The RSS chief planned to have a progression of shut entryway gatherings with senior heads of the association and is probably going to meet some political pioneers too.

Bhagawat is probably going to meet Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday night, and examine some significant policy centred issues of the state.

The RSS chief will be in Guwahati till December 5, and after that, he would visit Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh.

Bhagwat is probably going to return to Guwahati for December 12 and would camp at Keshav Dham, the RSS office at Paltan Bazar in Guwahati.

During his stay at Keshav Dham, Mohan Bhagwat is probably going to converse with an enormous number of RSS pioneers who are working in Assam.

Mohan Bhagwat's visit to Assam expects hugeness as the state is set to go for a political race in April one year from now, and the decision BJP is all out to hold power.

His last visit to Guwahati was in January 2018 and had tended to a public convention — Luitporia Hindu Samavesh, and around 50,000 swayamsevaks had gone to the program.
