Tashi Yangjom from Arunachal Become First Indian Climber to Reach Mt. Everest This Season

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu saluted Tashi Yangjom, hailing from Dirang, on turning into the main Indian female climber to scale Mount Everest this season. 

 

She scaled the highest point on May 11. She is the main Indian to arrive at the pinnacle this season. 

 

Having prepared at the National Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (NIMAS) in West Kameng District's Dirang town, Yangjom is the 10th climber from the foundation to scale the most elevated highest point on the planet.

Taking to Twitter, Khandu stated, "Congrats Ms Tashi Yangjom from Dirang for scaling Mt. Everest and turning into the principal Indian woman climber to Summit Everest this Season. Customary Training at NIMAS Dirang has made her a solid mountain climber with lightning war speed. She turns into the 10th climber from NIMAS to scale Everest." 

 

NIMAS Dirang likewise saluted Yangjom. It said: Congratulations to Ms Tashi Yangjom for being the primary Indian climber to scale Mt Everest this season on 11 May 2021. Our earnest gratitude to Honorable CM Shiri Pema Khandu ji for continually supporting NIMAS and youthful enthusiastic climbers. The country is pleased with Ms Tashis' new accomplishment."
