Three New COVID Cases in Sikkim

Sikkim revealed three new COVID-19 cases just now, pushing the Covid caseload in the state to 6,178, an authority said on Wednesday. 


State's Information Education and Communication (IEC) part Sonam Bhutia said that the East Sikkim area revealed each of the three new cases. 


Sikkim presently has 49 dynamic COVID-19 cases, while 5,897 individuals have recuperated from the sickness, he said. 


The IEC part said the COVID-19 loss of life in the state is 135 while 97 patients have moved to different states. 


Sikkim has so far tried 80,088 samples for COVID-19 including 193 samples in the recent 24 hours, he added.
