Three people including a Myanmarese public were captured with drugs on March 18 out of two separate episodes in Mizoram, Excise and Narcotics Department said.
They held onto 503 gm of heroin from their ownership worth ₹ 14.7 lakh.
Following up on a clue, the division authorities held onto 461 gm of heroin in Zote and Ngur town near the India-Myanmar line in Champhai region and captured two people hailing from Champhai town, said.
Another Incident:
In another episode, 42 gm of heroin was seized, and a Myanmarese was captured in Aizawl, the assertion said.
They accepted they had snuck the drugs from Myanmar.
Authorities booked the three charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
