Two quakes estimating 4.0 and 2.8 extents hit Manipur on Saturday. A shudder estimating 2.8 sizes on the Richter scale was felt in Manipur's Senapati zone. The quake was felt 6.54 AM at a profundity of 10 KM. The subsequent tremor was somewhat higher in extent. It was 4.0 on the Richter scale and shocked Manipur at around 10.19 AM at a profundity of 30 KM. The National Center for Seismology shared the data by means of Twitter.
"Quake of Magnitude:4.0, happened on 21-11-2020, 10:19:36 IST, Lat: 24.92 and Long: 94.88, Depth: 30 Km, Location: 40km E of Ukhrul, Manipur, India." No loss or loss of property has been accounted for because of the seismic tremors.
